The Arc of Northern Virginia advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc engages in legislative, administrative and legal advocacy at the local, state and federal levels to ensure all people have a chance to live in the community; work in a meaningful job; learn with their peers; enjoy a stable family; and plan for a secure future.

We offer two monthly self-advocacy programs to help people with disabilities become empowered advocates.  We encourage the whole disability community to join our grassroots advocacy.
