Advocacy for Women, Richmond Chapter

Richmond NOW's purpose is to take action to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now exercising all privileges and responsibilities there of in equal participation with men. Richmond NOW is a chapter of the National Organization for Women.



National NOW provides us with information on legislative and social issues, as well as the creation of national programs such as the Woman Friendly Workplace Program. Richmond NOW, as an independent chapter, can choose to take part in whatever actions or legislative work we choose.
