A local chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation and the Virginia Hemophilia Federation of America. The Capital Area organization serves persons with bleeding disorders and their families in northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties in Maryland. Serves the needs of hemophilia patients through advocacy, seminars, professional referrals, information and education, and medic-alert membership. Offers minimal financial support when needed.
