Who We Are
Commonwealth Community Trust (CCT) administers pooled special needs trusts (PSNT) as a cost-effective and convenient way to set aside and preserve funds that will be used to enrich the quality of life for individuals with special needs. Establishing a PSNT will protect eligibility for Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and can provide a way to manage funds for those who may not be able to manage on their own. A monetary gift, personal injury settlement or inheritance can disqualify a Beneficiary from receiving these benefits unless the funds are placed in a PSNT. Examples of how the funds in the trust can be used include dental services, eyeglasses, hearing aids, education, assistive technology, furniture, clothing, caregiver expenses and more.
CCT, a nonprofit organization, was established in 1990 and administers trusts nationwide. Visit www.trustCCT.org to learn more about PSNTs, CCT, and to see our fee schedules.
