Developmental Day Support, Brunswick Creative Innovations

At Southside Community Services Board, there are three Creative Innovations centers located in Halifax, Mecklenburg and Brunswick counties which offer Developmental Day Support program services for adults with developmental disabilities. Persons with a developmental disability receive training in independent living skills, basic educational training, self-help and community engagement. Tailored service plans are specifically developed for each individual using a person-centered planning approach with the particular needs and preferences of each individual are assessed and continually monitored. Support Coordinators provide referrals to and participation in programs offered through the Creative Innovation Centers.
