The Up Center's advocates for individuals with disabilities and their families. Empowers the individual and families by teaching advocacy skills and providing resources to enable them to access the services they need.
Offers consultation for disability services for therapeutic recreation to individuals who have a Medicaid ID (Intellectual Disability) waiver or a Medicaid DD (Developmental Disability) waiver. The consultation helps an individual learn how to engage in meaningful leisure activities.
Offers consultation and legal custodian program to veterans with disabilities.
Offers bill paying services to prevent an individual from being financially exploited.
Offers a day support program for adults with moderate to severe disabilities to spend the day learning self-care and communication skills, while also having fun doing art and other activities.
Offer individuals with intellectual disabilities to live in homes with families rather than in a group home or an institution.
