Who We Are
Norfolk Urban Outreach Ministry maintains a clearinghouse for churches, agencies and persons seeking assistance, with an emphasis of reduction of fraud and abuse. Makes limited grants to help prevent eviction and provide emergency housing.
Matches emergency needs to emergency resources within community churches and agencies. Deals primarily with adults; however, in some limited situations, the clearing house is used for limited referral for youth.
Funding is from public contributions and churches.
