Medical Clinic

Tri-County Health Clinic offers primary care to patients who are fully uninsured, with no Medicare or Medicaid, have low income, are below 200% of the federal poverty level, and reside in Tazewell, Buchanan, or Russell counties. The medical problems which plague this three-county area are diabetes, hypertension, and depression, each feeding off the other. Some of the patients are working either full- or part-time jobs which do not provide health insurance or cannot afford it with the minimum wages being earned.

Refers out to cooperating doctors as needed. Offers simple blood sugar and urine tests. Some prescription assistance is available through a Samples distribution system.
