Crime Prevention & Education for Senior (TRIAD)
Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office
Who We Are
Chesterfield Triad is a partnership among the county's Sheriff's Office, Police Department, Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, Senior Advocate, senior organizations and individuals from the community. It strives to educate seniors and caregivers about programs, services, techniques and systems that help prevent crime against seniors and improve their quality of life.
Chesterfield Triad gives seniors a voice when it comes to their personal safety and security and offers them an opportunity to socialize while learning ways to be safe and secure.
Volunteers are needed to fulfill our programs and to add more programs.
Volunteers can assist with finding local speakers, with getting the word out in Chesterfield when a workshop or special event is coming up, helping with workshops, helping to man the Triad table at events and talking about our programs, securing funding for special projects and events, and helping with Senior Day in May. None of these programs could proceed without the tireless dedication of the volunteers who make these programs and activities possible.
The goal of TRIAD is to reduce the criminal victimization of older citizens and to provide an opportunity for exchange of information between law enforcement and senior citizens. Call for information about monthly meetings.
