Crime Prevention, Neighborhood Watch

Herndon Police Department offers various crime prevention programs.  Prevents and detects criminal activity, apprehends criminal offenders, protects constitutional guarantees, and generally creates and maintains a feeling of security and tranquility.

Operates a variety of crime prevention programs utilizing citizen involvement, such as Neighborhood Watch, Realtor Watch and Operation ID. Provides residential and business security safety checks and presents personal and work safety programs and presentations

Two staff people have limited Spanish capability.
