Who We Are

The Homeownership & Relocation Services Division is the unit of the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) that is charged with bringing affordable homebuying opportunities to Fairfax County's eligible first-time homebuyers. The Homeownership Division provides homebuyer counseling, hosts homebuying education classes, and has programs that offer affordably priced homes, mortgage and downpayment and closing cost assistance.

The Homeownership Resource Center (HRC) is located on the first floor of the FCRHA building at 3700 Pender Drive.  The Center is open weekdays from 9:00am-4:00pm except Wednesdays 1:00pm-4:00pm.   The Resource Center provides access to both computers and staff to assist first-time homebuyers in their home search.
