Who We Are
The Center provides for patient medical care, research, education, testing, counseling, screening and community involvement concerning all aspects of sickle cell diseases. All services of the Center are provided free of charge except for those services that involve Howard University Hospital. Screening tests for sickling disorders are done at the Center and are free.
Offers a weekly outpatient clinic for adults with sickle cell disease. The clinic is held each Tuesday from 8am until 12 Noon on the first floor, suite C, Howard University Hospital, 2041 Georgia Avenue NW in Washington DC. Call 202.865.1376 for more information.
