Mental Health Needs & Advocacy

Mental Health Association of Fauquier County offers information and referral to find resources for behavioral health issues. The agency also serves as an advocacy organization to address the needs of people with mental health issues and to ensure that effective treatment options are available.

A speakers bureau on topics related to good mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse problems is available to the community. Educational materials are also available.

The agency promotes mental health, improved care and treatment of persons with mental illness, as well as promotion of improved methods and services in education, research, detection treatment, and rehabilitation of persons with mental illness and the prevention of mental illness.
