Educational Programs

Virginia's Public Television (WVPT), serves a 29-county viewing area with children, how-to, performance, musical, theatrical, British comedy, news, nature and local public affairs programming.



In addition, WVPT offers educational services for children and adults promoting literacy, an appreciation for science and the environment, and knowledge of the latest technological advances for the classroom.



Service area is 29 counties from Winchester to Lexington and Lynchburg to Loudoun County. Please check your local listing. Office is open Monday-Friday; service hours are 24/7.



Some programs offered are NOVA, Antiques Road Show, Arthur, Nature and the News Hour with Jim Lehrer, Virginia Farming, Garden View with the Viettes, Consider This and WVPT Cooks.
