Who We Are
At Chesterfield County Department of Mental Health Support Services (CCMHSS), the Chesterfield Infant Program provides early intervention supports and services to infants and toddlers from birth through age three who are not developing as expected or who have a medical condition that delays development. Early intervention supports and services focus on increasing the child's participation in family and community activities. In addition, supports and services teach parents and caregivers how to find ways to help the child learn during routine activities.
The Chesterfield Infant Program provides intake, eligibility determination and assessment for early intervention services. If and infant or toddler is eligible for early intervention services, the Chesterfield Infant Program will coordinate services including developmental services, speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
Visit the Infant and Toddler Connection of Virginia for more information.
