Hanover County Branch # 7096 of the NAACP has a mission to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.



The branch seeks to increase registration and voting. Works for the enactment of municipal, state, and federal legislation designed to improve the educational, political, and economic status of minority groups. Seeks the repeal of racially discriminatory legislation. Works to improve the administration of justice. Works to secure equal enforcement of the law. Non-Partisan and does not endorse candidates for public office.
