The Legal Outreach Program provides pro bono legal services to those in need. Various legal clinics are scheduled quarterly within low-income neighborhoods. Geared for lower income (200% of poverty guidelines), elderly and handicapped persons living in Williamsburg, James City County, York, and Poquoson.
Free legal services are provided in the following areas: divorce, child custody and support, landlord/tenant disputes, consumer law, employment law, bankruptcy, immigration law, restoration of driver's license, and voting privilege. This program is partnered by the Williamsburg Bar Association and Advancing Community Excellence (ACE).
Transportation and on-site childcare is provided.
