Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) provides emergency shelter for homeless in Manassas, together with financial assistance with rent and utilities to help prevent their homelessness from occurring. In Fairfax County, Northern Virginia Family Service works with the Fairfax County Department of Family Services, and United Community Ministries to provide homeless families supportive housing.
