Southwest Virginia Children's Advocacy Center (CAC)

Southwest Virginia Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) provides intervention and treatment services to children who have been sexually or severely physically abused. Services are provided in a child-friendly, safe facility and include forensic interviews, mental health treatment, case management, victim advocacy, information and referral, non-offending caregiver support throughout the investigation, prosecution and treatment phase of a case. The center works with members of a multidisciplinary team in providing needed services and case coordination.

Mental health treatment is provided by a Licensed clinical Social Worker.  The CAC is an accredited center.
