Who We Are

Powhatan Community Action Agency (PCAA) advocates for those in need and provides eligible individuals with information, services, and resources that will educate, empower, and promote self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and personal dignity. The following programs available are rental assistance )eviction notice needed); rental deposit (copy of signed lease needed); mortgage assistance (foreclosure notice needed); utility assistance (disconnect or cut-off notice needed).  Information and Referral Services are also available upon request.

No Application can be processed until a completed application has been submitted and verification of income is turned in for all persons living in the household.



Firewood assistance may be available in the cold months.
