Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) provides legal services in certain civil cases for persons with limited income. Staff will also assist with public benefits and advance directives, such as powers of attorney, living wills, etc.
The mission of LSNV is to serve individuals who, without legal assistance, will lose a critical human need: food, shelter, income, medical care, or personal safety. Some of the areas of non-criminal cases are elder law, consumer law, employment law, family law, housing law, and public benefits.
