Helping Hands offers emergency financial assistance to qualified individuals, as long as funds are available. Financial assistance can be provided for electric bill termination notices, rent or mortgage issues, heating fuel, prescription medication, food, and other emergency needs. The assistance is not intended for support, only intended for emergencies. Assistance will only be provided once in 18 months or three times in 5 years.
Helping Hands is staffed by volunteers.
Helping Hands assists with referrals to other area agencies and organizations that might be of assistance.
