Blue Ridge Medical Center is a Communityl Health Center which is a non-profit private corporation located in a medically underserved area to provide comprehensive primary health care to anyone seeking care. In addition to treating individual patients, a health center emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention for entire communities.  Physicians at the Center are family practitioners.

Patients are seen for common ailments such as a cold, the flu, earaches, and also for chronic illnesses such as hypertension, heart failure, angina, diabetes, COPD, depression, anxiety, back pain, arthritis and thyroid dysfunction.

A Community Health Center does not deny anyone primary health care services. All community residents have equal access regardless of ability to pay, geographic locations/residence, culture, age, sex or religion.

Financial assistance is available through the Sliding Fee Scale.
