Parents of Autistic Children of Northern Virginia (POAC- NoVa advocates for improvements in the services delivered to individuals on the autism spectrum and is a clearinghouse of information. The organization has worked to improve the quality and quantity of education for students with autism in the Fairfax County Public Schools.
POAC-NoVa also holds a parent support group and information meeting several times throughout the year to provide parents a forum to share information and experiences.
