Who We Are

Local Chapter of American Foundation on Suicide Prevention offers suicide prevention and behavioral health advocacy.   The Education Committee highlights past and ongoing research to enlighten others about the underlying risk factors that contribute to suicide. 

The Public Relations Committee seeks opportunities to highlight research studies and results, and works with local organizations to help spread the word about suicide prevention.

The Advocacy Committee works with local, state and national leaders and other organizations to help increase awareness about and secure adequate funding for mental health and suicide prevention issues.

The Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Committee coordinates the Survivor Outreach program.
