Information and Advocacy, Autism Spectrum Disorders

The Virginia Autism Resource Center(VARC) at Virginia Commonwealth University, is a resource for parents and professionals who wish to gather information about autism spectrum disorders and provide effective guidance, interventions, and support.   The staff works to provide quality services that improve the lives of individuals with autism and related disorders such as Asperger's syndrome, Retts disorder, childhood disintegrative disorder, and other disorders relating to communication and social skills difficulties.

The lending library offers a variety of materials and information.

Training opportunities are offered to anyone who lives with, works with or supports individuals with autism spectrum disorders or similar disorders.
