Adult Academy Day Program for Adults with Autism

The Virginia Institute of Autism (VIA) has an Adult Academy that provides learning opportunities for adults and post-high adult students in a low-ratio, success-oriented environment which promotes choices and self-paced involvement.  Daily, each individual is given the opportunity to choose from a schedule of learning opportunities within the center or out in the community.  Opportunities include meal preparation, housekeeping skills development, volunteering, exercise and sports proficiency, life skills training, and social engagement.
