Project Link

The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) offers Project Link, a state funded, community based inter-agency effort to help pregnant and postpartum women who need services for substance use disorders. The Project Link program is currently being redesigned. 

Project Link helps provide concrete, real time help, because every minute counts. Sometimes the help needed is money for transportation to and from appointments. It may be child care, housing, food, health care, maternity clothes, or baby supplies. Many of the women Project Link works with are in jail and must give birth during incarceration.

While coordinating services to help with basic needs, Project Link also seeks to engage women in services to help them stop using alcohol and other drugs that not only harm the women themselves but that can cause such serious and lasting harm to their children.
