Home Ownership Program, Northern Virginia

Community Housing Partners (CHP) offers home ownership opportunities to low to moderate-income families.  CHP provides financial assistance programs to qualified buyers as part of our holistic home ownership efforts. We also partner with other agencies to provide below market rate mortgages for families with low to moderate income.

To assist with the home buying process, CHP provides free homebuyer education and counseling in the following areas: Credit and personal finance; Budgeting; Qualifying for a home loan; Negotiating a purchase; Applying for a mortgage; Other important aspects of the home buying process. Our realty department provides the convenience and ease of one-stop shopping by offering a team of homeownership professionals within the same company working together to meet the clients' needs. From educational and counseling services, to lending and financial guidance, CHP can help ensure a more straightforward, and potentially less expensive, home buying or selling process.

CHP has been involved in creating single-family homeownership opportunities since 1989. This activity includes both construction and acquisition/rehabilitation of single family homes.
