Resources for Independent Living, Inc. (RIL) offers a Speakers Bureau that provides speakers for organizations, schools, or places of employment to talk about Disability Awareness, Disability Etiquette or Guidelines for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance.
RIL also offers complimentary ADA assessments for local businesses. A staff member with a disability and a degree in Architecture performs the assessments. The assessment is a comprehensive report detailing all aspects of the facility from parking lots to bathrooms, along with a section of recommendations to improve accessibility.
