Who We Are
The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) provides services to child and adolescent survivors of sexual or physical child abuse. The goals are
- Providing a safe space for children to be interviewed,
- Reducing the number of times a child is interviewed,
- Providing assistance and support to caregivers and
- Providing therapy to help with healing after exposure to traumatic events.
CAC services flow through a multidisciplinary team, which consists of service providers involved in cases of sexual and physical child abuse including law enforcement, child protective services, prosecutors, mental health and medical providers and victim advocates.
