Circle of Life, LLC provides home and community based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. They focus on assisting the individual to meet their full potential through growth, self-determination, courage, resilience, empowerment to form and live their vision of their best life. They assist the individual to live up to their fullest potential, live independently, and to integrate into their community. The services are to assist each person with living their best lives.
Home services provided include, but are not limited to:
- Household chores
- Meal preparation and clean-up
- Food shopping and errands
- Non-medical assistance with bowel and bladder care
- Feeding
- Bathing
- Grooming and dressing
- Assistance with ambulation and help moving in and out of bed
Community individuals receiving services through Circle of Life, LLC are meant to enhance the quality of life and promote new experiences to the level of the individual’s comfort. The community experiences and interactions include:
- Leisure and recreational activities
- Communication/ spiritual/ and cultural activities
- Volunteerism
- Educational and training activities
- Development of living skills
- Health and wellness promotion
- Orientation, mobility, and destination training
- Access and utilization of public transportation
- Interacting with volunteers from the community in program activities
- Community collaborations and social connections developed by programs
For supportive in-home services for infants to school age children, the staff will come to the family’s home to provide a variety of in-home support services for ages 0-17. This is to assist children with activities of daily living (ADL’s), as well as medical and personal needs. Circle of Life, LLC provides support for substitute decision making to help them be successful in care for a child with special needs at home. Depending on each child and family’s unique needs and goals, services may include:
- Support to promote greater independence for the individual youth
- Assistance with daily household tasks
- Behavior management services
- Family support to ensure individuals can continue to live at home
- Integration into their community
