Partners in Policymaking

The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities has a Partners in Policymaking program they offer for individuals to join. They accept applications for motivated and dedicated advocates who want to make an impact in their communities.

Eligible participants are people with developmental disabilities and/or parents of young children with developmental disabilities. The participants will attend advocacy training and skill-building workshops designed to hone them into effective and passionate advocates.
