Who We Are
Travelers' Aid Society, Dulles International Airport, offers assistance to travelers stranded in the Metropolitan area. Travelers Aid at Washington Dulles International Airport assists passengers and members of the airport community. The program is designed for passengers flying in and out of the airport. There are 14 information desks and mobile guide locations that are staffed by a core group of dedicated volunteers who provide guidance to travelers, visitors, and employees about the airport and the Washington metro area. Desks are open throughout the year except on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Social service assistance is offered by a Travelers Aid Social Worker. With advance notice, they also can arrange for protective travel assistance. Also provided to a traveler are airport assistance, hotel information, directions, tourism information, local transportation information, and stranded traveler assistance. Services are limited to airport travelers.
