Independent Living Skills Training, Physical Disability

Independent Living Skills: Individual and group training provided to people with a physical disability on know-how-to-live independently. Skills are provided in several categories including: budgeting, traveling, personal assistant management, building self-esteem, job seeking and more. All programs are designed to meet individual needs.

Advocacy: Active support for direct, nonviolent action for disability rights, both at the individual and systemic levels. Staff members train and assist individuals with disabilities to understand and exercise their civil rights regarding government and other service providers.
